BIG RIVER RUBBER & GASKET couples Thermoid hose by pneumatic banding or hydraulic swedging. Computer tracking tags, and written certification of testing can be provided upon request. Hose tags installed with date of test, tested pressure, and your part number.

The Thermoid patented Concure® process, which allows hose to be manufactured continuously in long 700 foot lengths, changed forever the way spiral hose was made worldwide, and contributed to the development of scores of product innovations.
A further extension of Thermoid technology is the Thermocure® process which produces hose with a higher working pressure and a smooth cover.
Another example of Thermoid state-of-the-art technology is the LX-200 process. This computer controlled methodology produces long length mandrel hoses in lengths up to 200 feet.

Thermoid/HBD Industries has been a leading innovator in lightweight belt technology for decades. Many improvements that have now become industry standards were pioneered in their research laboratories.
They were the first to use 100% polyester and 50-50 polyester cotton blends for greater strength and moisture resistance in their lightweight fabrics... the first to use a nitrile rubber to dramatically improve the oil resistance in their food belts. They developed the special adhesive treatment for synthetic carcasses that helps keep plies from separating. And they were the first to offer a multi-ply PVC belt to the food industry, giving processors their first chance to combine the added strength of multiple plies with the superior resistance of polyvinylchloride.

Carolina Rubber Rolls manufactures a variety of custom designs, quality rubber and urethane rolls. Carolina also offers a complete line of bow and hydraulically activated swimming rolls. Finish grinding is done on computer controlled machinery ensuring tight tolerances along the entire face of the rll. Regrind, recover, repair or a complete new roll, their service is second to none. Carolina's premier reputation is based on HBD's technical support, quick turnaround time and long service life.
The Thermoid Big Job® rubber band line includes pallet bands, furniture bands, and LongLife Bands. Used in numerous materials handling/shipping operations, they can often replace costly, unwieldy films, potentially damaging steel straps and sticky adhesive tapes. Best of all, they can be used again and again. Big Job Bands come in jumbo sizes, three, four and five feet long, from 24" to 113" in circumference. They're made in natural tan rubber; special orders can be color coded to meet your requirements.

Thermoid/HBD Industries Introduces Ultraflex® Ducting Line
Thermoid/HBD Industries announced the addition of Ultraflex Thermoplastic/PVC hose/duct to its highly respected industrial ducting product line.
Ultraflex is an ultra flexible, ultra tough, ultra versatile, ultra durable thermoplastic/PVC hose/duct product that handles a wide variety of demanding materials and air handling applications. The line includes:
Ultraflex® TPU - Available in black or clear thermoplastic urethane for superior abrasion resistance in the materials handling of chips, plastic pellets, leaves and grass, industrial vacuum systems, and more.
Ultraflex® TPR - A black general purpose hose with superior chemical and weathering resistance as well as good resistance to abrasion and flex fatigue. It's ideal for a variety of air, fume, and dust control applications.
Ultraflex® TPC - A thermoplastic PVC hose for fume removal, ventilation, and dust applications that has good chemical, abrasion, and weathering characteristics.
Ultraflex® VP - Single or double ply of yellow vinyl coated polyester fabric that's available with a vinyl wear strip over a wire helix for additional wear resistance. It's designed for air movement, fumes and dust removal, and light materials handling.
All of the above Ultraflex hose/duct products are reinforced with a steel wire helix for strength and flexibility. range is 2" I.D. through 18" I.D. and in 25' lengths (50' available upon request).
